System Administrator

Our IT team is working on a wide range of projects:

A high-load system for managing content production;

Cloud solutions for video and animation production;

Internal electronic workflow and accounting systems;

A company analytics system.
All solutions are custom planned to include the functionality and features required by the business.
We continue to grow, and right now we are looking for an experienced and highly qualified System administrator for our new office in Budapest, who will be able to demonstrate their skills in launching and developing a new office from scratch and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our computer equipment, local network, and software.
Responsibilities:

Configuring and maintaining computers using macOS (for almost all of our work stations), Windows (a very small number of work stations), and Apple mobile devices;

Configuring and monitoring Unifi & Mikrotik office network equipment;

Managing remote Windows/Linux-based servers;
-
Managing changes (updates to operating systems and software);
-
Dealing with contractors, participating in the purchase of equipment, and IT-asset management;
-
Developing and updating operating documentation and user manuals;
-
Managing incidents, working with requests, providing user support (Adobe products; cloud services for MS Office, Google, etc.);

Ensuring redundancy for and the stable, safe functioning of work stations – antivirus programs, firewalls, updates, drive encryption;

Simple repairs and servicing of office equipment;

Administering the office’s access control system.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field;
-
3+ years experience as System Administrator;
-
Work experience in the office with 100+ workstations;
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
-
Strong communication skills, user-oriented approach;
-
Ability to communicate in English effectively.
These would be a plus:
-
Experience in managing Apple devices using MDM;
-
Working knowledge of the Linux console and its tools;
-
Working knowledge of PowerShell;
-
The ability to use Ansible, knowledge of the Git command-line tool;
-
Experience in implementing CI/CD;
-
Knowledge of Docker, k8s, virtualization systems;
-
The ability to program in Python, Go.
